Safer Internet Day 2022

Published: 10 February 2022

Today's Safer Internet Week post is about our Online Reputation.

Everyone shares a dual wish to make sure they show their best side to the world WHILE keeping it real.  When doing this people sometimes find themselves faced with a choice between the two.

We all need to bear in mind that when looking at celebs/influencers profiles they are also showing their best side while not showing all of their normal daily life.

Benefits to staying authentic:

"We're more likely to trust a genuine person than a fake one because we believe those who are true to themselves are also likely to be truer and more honest with us.

We often associate genuineness with appealing traits, such as strength of character and emotional resilience.

We are attracted to uniqueness and individuality, qualities genuine people usually have." (from Dr Guy Winch (7 habits of genuine people))

Share the good with some of the bad
