Distress Brief Intervention website launched

News Posted: 6th July 2017

The DBI Programme is an initiative which emerged from the Scottish Government's work on the Suicide Prevention and Mental Health strategies which showed that people in distress require improved co-ordination across agencies, quicker access to support and more consistency in the compassion they receive.

The website will give an overview of the DBI Programme and all the latest news during the pilot phase November 2016 till March 2021. 4 sites are piloting the programme namely, Penumbra in Aberdeen; Support in Mind in Inverness; NHS Borders Joint Mental Health Service and North and South Lanarkshire Health & Social Care Partnerships
